Event Recording and Publicity Policy

How AI Business Rescue records and uses community sessions, how your name and business may appear, and how to participate without being recorded.

This policy explains when we record community events, how recordings and other publicity are used, and how you can take part on your own terms. The filming of the contest winner is covered separately by Section 6 of the Official Rules and the winner's release form.

What we may record

  • Rescue Live (weekly webinar): video, audio, screen shares, and chat may be recorded.
  • Monthly office hours: may be recorded.
  • The Rescue Room (weekly X Space): X Spaces are public. Anyone on X can listen, and Spaces may be recorded by X, by us, or by listeners. Treat everything you say there as public.
  • Other sessions and workshops: may be recorded. We'll say so in the invitation or at the start.

We'll announce at the start of each recorded session, and in event invitations where possible, that the session is being recorded.

How we may use recordings

  • Replays in the Rescue HQ video library
  • Clips and full episodes on YouTube, social media, and our website
  • Excerpts in our emails and educational material
  • Internal review to improve our sessions

What's in a recording

If you join a recorded session, the recording may include your name or display name, your voice if you speak, your image if your camera is on, and anything you type in a public chat. By taking part in a recorded session, you agree that we may record and use your participation as described in this policy.

How to take part without being recorded

  • Keep your camera off and stay muted
  • Change your display name to a first name or initials before joining
  • Send questions privately to the host or by email ahead of time, and ask us not to use your name
  • In The Rescue Room, just listen. Don't request to speak if you don't want your voice in a public recording.

Asking us to remove you

If you'd like your name, image, voice, or comments removed from a recording we've made:

  • Before we publish: email hello@aiventureholdings.com with the session and what you'd like removed. We'll make reasonable efforts to cut, blur, or anonymize you.
  • After we publish: we'll review the request in good faith and edit or remove the content where we reasonably can.

We can't control copies made by third parties or by platforms like X.

Your business name and story

  • We won't use your business name, logo, or a quote from you in our marketing without your permission, except as the Official Rules provide for the winner.
  • Your application stays private. We don't publish application details for applicants who aren't selected. See our Privacy Policy.
  • Things you say in a recorded session may appear in that recording, as described above. That's why we ask everyone to avoid sharing confidential details.

The winner

The winner's filmed deployment is governed by the Official Rules and a separate release form provided before filming. Our Privacy Policy notes that, if you win, limited business information may be shared publicly as part of the filmed deployment. See Being on the Show.

Other people's privacy

Don't record, screenshot, or rebroadcast community sessions yourself, and don't share what other attendees say about their businesses. See the Community Guidelines.
