This policy explains what we send, why, how often, and how you control it. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, Terms of Service, and the Official Rules.

Two kinds of email
Transactional and relationship messages
These are about your application or your relationship with us, such as:
- Confirmation that we received your application, with your Rescue HQ link
- Changes to your application status, including shortlisting, not being selected, or winning
- Re-sending your portal link when you ask for it
- Messages required to run the contest, like winner notifications, eligibility verification, and prize scheduling
- Replies to questions you send us
- Join links and reminders for events you RSVP'd to
- Important changes to our rules, terms, or policies
You'll receive these as long as you have an active application or request with us, even if you've unsubscribed from marketing.
Educational and marketing messages
These help you get value from AI and keep you up to date on the contest and our community, such as:
- Practical guides and lessons for your industry
- Tips tied to your AI blueprint
- Invitations to Rescue Live, The Rescue Room, and office hours
- Contest news and reminders that applications are still open
- News about future seasons or services from AI Venture Holdings
Who gets marketing email
We send educational and marketing email to people who:
- Submitted an application
- Started an application but didn't finish it
- Asked to hear from us in some other way
Every marketing email clearly identifies us, includes our mailing address, and includes a working unsubscribe link.
Referral invitations
When an applicant enters your email address in our invite form, we send you one invitation email that names the applicant who invited you. We don't add you to our marketing emails because of that invitation. You'll only hear more from us if you apply, start an application, or ask to. If you'd like to make sure you never get another invitation, email hello@aiventureholdings.com and we'll add your address to our do-not-email list.
How often
We send more in the first couple of weeks after you apply, when there's the most to set up, and less often after that. We don't send daily marketing email. Event reminders go only to people who RSVP'd or asked for them.
How to unsubscribe
- Click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or
- Email hello@aiventureholdings.com and ask to be unsubscribed, from the address you want removed.
We process unsubscribe requests promptly, and always within 10 business days. Unsubscribing from marketing:
- Does not withdraw your application. Your application stays in consideration.
- Does not stop transactional messages about your application status.
- Is free. We'll never ask you to pay, log in, or give more information than your email address to unsubscribe.

Text messages (SMS)
We don't send text messages unless you explicitly opt in to receive them. Giving us a phone number on your application is not consent to receive texts. If we offer text updates, you'll be asked separately, the consent box will never be pre-checked, and you can reply STOP at any time to opt out. Message and data rates may apply.
Phone calls
We may call finalists and the winner about their applications using the number they provided. We don't use auto-dialers or prerecorded calls for marketing.
Following the law
We aim to follow the CAN-SPAM Act and other applicable laws on commercial messages. That means accurate sender and subject lines, clear identification of marketing messages, a physical mailing address, a working opt-out, and prompt handling of opt-out requests.
