Community Guidelines

The rules for Rescue Live, The Rescue Room, office hours and every AI Business Rescue community channel: conduct, no selling, confidentiality and moderation.

Our community exists so owners going through a hard stretch can learn, ask honest questions, and help each other. These guidelines keep it useful and safe. They apply to Rescue Live webinars, The Rescue Room X Spaces, office hours, comment sections, chats, and any other community channel we run, and they apply to everyone, including our own team and guests.

1. Be respectful

  • Treat other owners the way you'd want to be treated on your worst day.
  • No harassment, threats, insults, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, disability, or any other personal characteristic.
  • Disagree with ideas, not people.
  • No sexually explicit, violent, or hateful content.

2. No selling or spam

  • Don't pitch your products or services in sessions, chats, or comments, and don't direct-message other members with pitches.
  • Don't harvest contact information from attendee lists, chats, or comments for marketing.
  • Don't post referral links in community channels. Share your link one-to-one with people who want it. See Inviting Other Businesses the Right Way.
  • Hosts and guests may mention tools and services when they're relevant to a question. When a host or guest has a business interest in something they mention, we'll say so.

3. Keep other businesses' information confidential

Owners share real problems here, sometimes painful ones.

  • Don't repeat, record, screenshot, or publish what another attendee shares about their business without their permission.
  • Don't identify other attendees' businesses outside the session.
  • Share carefully about your own business. Avoid customer names, employee details, financial account information, health information, or anything else you wouldn't want made public.

4. Sessions may be recorded

Rescue Live, office hours, and other sessions may be recorded, and recordings may be published. The Rescue Room runs on X, where Spaces are public and can be recorded. If you speak, turn on your camera, or post in a chat, your name, voice, image, and comments may be part of a recording. Read the Event Recording and Publicity Policy for details and opt-out options.

5. Information, not professional advice

Hosts, guests, and members share general information and personal experience. Nothing said in a community session is legal, tax, financial, medical, or HR advice. Talk to a qualified professional before making decisions in those areas.

6. Stay on topic

Keep discussion focused on running and rescuing small businesses, AI, and automation. Political debates, personal disputes, and unrelated promotions don't belong here.

7. Be honest

Don't impersonate anyone, including AI Business Rescue staff. Don't misrepresent the contest, the Official Rules, or your results.

8. Moderation and removal

Hosts and moderators may, at their discretion:

  • Remind you of these guidelines
  • Remove or hide comments and chat messages
  • Mute you, remove you from a speaker role, or remove you from a session
  • Block you from future community sessions and channels

Serious violations, like threats or harassment, may lead to immediate removal without a warning.

Removal from community spaces doesn't by itself change your contest application. Conduct that also violates our Terms of Service or the Official Rules is handled under those documents.

9. Platform rules apply too

When we use third-party platforms, like X for The Rescue Room or a webinar provider for Rescue Live, their terms and community rules also apply.

Reporting a problem

Tell the host during the session, or email hello@aiventureholdings.com with what happened, when, and in which session. We review every report.

Changes

We may update these guidelines as the community grows. The updated date on this page shows the latest version.
